At the front of an Atlantic low-pressure system, a föhn wind will initially dominate in our area on Tuesday. This will also lead to some clearing with sunshine. However, during the day, clouds from a bad weather front will slowly move over the country, and subsequently, rain showers will spread from the main Alpine ridge. In the föhn-affected areas, it may take until the evening for the rain to arrive. Behind the front, the föhn will return on Wednesday, clearing the clouds again and keeping it mild. The bad weather front from the remnants of Hurricane Kirk will reach our country on Thursday during the day, after the föhn subsides. It will bring new clouds and rain showers, with the snow line slowly dropping towards 2000 meters above sea level. As the weekend approaches, the sun may break through at times, but the weather is not expected to stabilize just yet, as the prevailing west to southwest flow will continue to bring in denser clouds and showers.
