From the car park Sennhof in Niederthai you walk the always slightly increasing forest path along the Horlachbach into the Horlachtal. After about an hour you reach the Larstigalm and walk comfortably past it. The path leads up a little steeper and then flat and so you get to the lower Klein Horlachalm. The last piece to the nearby Groß Horlachalm (not managed) is a bit steeper, but you will be rewarded with a beautiful view towards Niederthai. From the starting point in Niederthai there are as an alternatively offer the two mountain trails Grastal and Bergmahderweg. Even with the mountain bike the hut is very easy to reach.

From the car park Sennhof in Niederthai you walk the always slightly increasing forest path along the Horlachbach into the Horlachtal. Public transport
Travel safe and comfortable with the train to the Ötztal Bahnhof train station. Last stop and exit point is the train station Ötztal Bahnhof. Afterwards you can travel smoothly and quick with the public transport or our local taxi companies through the valley to your desired destination. Getting there
The car drive to the Ötztal valley. Situated in Tirol, the Ötztal valley set off in southerly direction and is the longest side valley in the Eastern Alps. The journey with the car leads you through the Inntal valley to the entrance of the valley and further on through the valley. Among the toll motorways you can also use the country roads.
